Iran-Israel Conflict: Unraveling Tensions in the Middle East

Iran can attack Israel within 48 hours, according to American intelligence sources. As soon as that news came to light, the Indian government was shaken this time. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement on Friday advising Indians not to travel to Iran and Israel.

 

Apart from banning Indians from going to Iran-Israel, the Ministry of External Affairs has also warned the Indians staying in those two countries. Indians living in Israel and Iran are advised to contact the Indian embassy immediately. They have also been asked to register their names. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian government is concerned about the safety of Indians in Israel and Iran. Narendra Modi government advised them to be careful.

 

Iran is involved in Israel’s conflict with Hamas. Although Israel and Iran have not gone to direct war yet, tensions between the two countries have been going on for several days. The Israeli military was accused of attacking the Iranian embassy in Damascus, the capital of Syria. The missile attack killed seven people, including two generals of the Iranian military. After this incident came to light, Tehran warned of a direct attack on Israel. Not only that, the Iranian government has also sent a message to America, Israel’s friend, to stay away from this conflict.

On Friday, the Wall Street Journal quoted a senior American intelligence official as saying that Israel could attack Iran. Tehran may attack northern and southern Israel. According to the Wall Street Journal, the attack may take place within 48 hours. Countries like America, France, Germany have warned their citizens as soon as the news came to light. This time the Indian government also walked the same path.

Apart from banning Indians from going to Iran-Israel, the Ministry of External Affairs has also warned the Indians staying in those two countries. It has been said that Indians living in Israel and Iran should immediately contact the Indian Embassy.
